We all know that Tubtrugs® are simply put, the most useful tool in the world.
So here are some extra tips & tricks for using your Tubtrug®, that have come from other Tubrug® owners...
Tubtrugs® - A Day on the Beach
As a family who live near the sea, we like to go down to the beach often, and spend many happy & fun hours enjoying the sea & sand. One item that I have found to be indispensable is our trusty, well used Tubtrug®.
Not only can we fill it with all the items necessary for a fun day on the beach (buckets & spades, goggles, flip flops, beach mats etc), which stops them spreading out all over the boot of the car, but it also makes carrying them down to the beach a doddle. The kids even use it to build giant sandcastles with!
At the end of the day when we’re tired out, ready to go home and all covered in sand, I nip down to the sea and fill the Tubtrug® with water. Once back at the car I can then wash the sand off everyone’s feet & legs and stop it getting all over the car (a pet hate), fold the Tubtrug® to make a spout to pour the waste water away and then give it a couple of shakes to dry out. All the days’ items then go back in and we set off home.
There’s loads of other things that I use the Tubtrugs® I own for, but the tough, water-proof plastic makes this ideal for a day on the beach

Tubtrugs® - The Goose's Tale
I recently visited the Saturday market held in our local town of Derby. Whilst there, I was persuaded to buy a Goose that I feared was destined for the table of a local chap for the princely sum of £6.50!
Once bought and I realised that I had no way of getting my newly acquired feathered friend home, I started to panic. I returned to my car to find my Tubtrug®, which I keep in the boot for when I go shopping (so that the bags don’t roll around in the boot).
I returned to the holding cage to retrieve the goose, whom thereon sat comfortably with her head poking out of the front of my Tubtrug®, but with her wings unable to flap she felt comfortable and safe (I think she rather enjoyed the view she enjoyed of the irregular goings on at our market!)
Feeling sure this was one of the most unusual tips you may have heard, I felt compelled to write and share my tale.
Best regards and thanks for saving my goose's life! She’ll be eternally grateful.
PS: She now uses your Large Shallow Tubtrug® as a paddler! Simply wonderful
